Colter Merrick
and Sharon Cummings created Elixart in 2012 after a move from the Bay
Area to Nevada City, California. Our mission is to bring herbal alchemy
and plant power to the people.

In the beginning, they set the space as an art gallery and started serving
ceremonial tea with the local community and international travelers. They
soon discovered: shared intention and community connection is where the
true magic transpired.

Within a year, they were transforming Elixart into a gathering place to
enjoy non-alcoholic, plant-based drink offerings that support healthy
practices, elevated conversation, and artistic expression, somewhere people
could truly connect with each other and the transformational power of
plants.

They encourage you to slow down and savor the purity of their hand-picked ingredients. They believe in sourcing only high integrity and sustainable ingredients, organic whenever possible.
